With the philosophy of balancing work and leisure — a well-fed horse should also be given room to run — and to give new and veteran employees a chance to get to know each other, communicate, and exchange WeChat contacts, iNexBot Technology's Nanjing headquarters and Dongguan branch recently organized team building activities for all employees.
Nanjing Chapter
On May 27, under a bright and sunny (scorching) sky, we held our team building activity. The timing was perfect — with everyone together, we took a group photo right away!
This time we arranged the activity at Nanjing Yunyou Valley, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. There's barbecue! There's an amusement park! It's a great place for group fun! There's also a trendy glass-bottomed bridge, where our colleagues could overlook the entire scenic area.
Of course, the camera guy who's afraid of heights quickly made his way back down the bridge after trembling his way through the photos.
There are quite a few Nanjing lads and lasses at iNexBot — and of course, we'd love to have even more young people join to raise our average good-looks level!
The scenic area is dotted with all kinds of rides — the pendulum, the roller coaster, the pirate ship, the flying chairs. With few visitors, there were no lines, so the iNexBot-ers took turns rousing every gatekeeper and screaming their hearts out on the pendulum and roller coaster over and over again. Unfortunately, some rides have weight and height limits, so a few of our more generously proportioned colleagues could only stand to the side with their hands on their hips and shout, “Whoa, these young folks sure have nerve!”
When you go out to play, the most important thing is still satisfying your appetite. When the time came, everyone headed to the barbecue area to light the grills. As industrial elites, lighting a fire and grilling meat is a piece of cake for the iNexBot-ers. A few colleagues tried to stay composed while playing cards, seemingly with eyes reddened by the smoke — but why were the tears streaming from the corners of their mouths?
Of course, iNexBot welcomes gourmet experts from all over the country to raise our average cooking level!
Well fed and well hydrated, everyone then enjoyed free leisure activities after the meal — flying kites, playing cards, and so on. What a wonderful time!
Dongguan Chapter
How could we in Dongguan be left out when our Nanjing colleagues had their team building? So here we were at Songshan Lake Ecological Park. Although the weather didn't cooperate — it drizzled that day — it did nothing to dampen our excitement!
The choice of Songshan Lake Ecological Park for this activity is best described by Tao Yuanming's verse: “Plucking chrysanthemums by the eastern fence, I gaze leisurely at the southern hills.” The park is a natural oxygen bar, with water and hills complementing each other, surrounded by mountains, and pavilions and towers echoing one another — every corner teeming with life.
As soon as we entered the park, everyone couldn't wait to start an intense live-action CS game. During the game, teammates encouraged one another, and problems were solved on the spot through communication.
The off-road buggy ride was really thrilling! The course was challenging, with rough downhill bends — but how could a few small obstacles defeat us? Some colleagues may have hit a few snags, but we helped each other out, and everyone made it to the finish line.
The rain gradually picked up while we played, but how could we let good food go to waste? Barbecue is, of course, an indispensable part of any team building — delicious food “grilled” without end. The weather was a bit harsh, but it didn't affect everyone's enthusiasm in the slightest, and our colleagues proved highly hands-on!
Summary
Throughout this team building outing, everyone laughed and talked freely, creating a harmonious and warm team atmosphere. Not only did we relax body and mind, but we also deepened our bonds with one another. The activity may be over, but our passion remains undimmed, and we all came away with valuable experiences. We are confident that everyone will be fully geared up to throw themselves into their work, become an even better team, and stride into a brighter future side by side with the company.
