iNexBot Wins Second Prize in the 7th “Entrepreneurship Jiangsu” Sci-Tech Entrepreneurship Competition

The finals of the 7th “Entrepreneurship Jiangsu” Sci-Tech Entrepreneurship Competition — also serving as the Jiangsu regional finals of the 8th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition — jointly guided by the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Talent Office, the Provincial Party Committee Publicity Department, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Department of Finance, the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, were successfully held on September 11–12 in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area.

The competition was officially launched in April this year and drew widespread attention and enthusiastic participation from all sectors of society, attracting 4,600 startup teams and companies from home and abroad — one of the highest registration numbers in the country. Three overseas divisions — North America, Europe, and Oceania — attracted 287 startup teams from more than 10 countries including the United States, Canada, France, Germany, and Australia. After 13 local competitions across the province, 283 startup teams and companies advanced to the provincial industry competitions, where they competed across six industry sectors: new materials, advanced manufacturing, biomedicine, electronic information, the Internet, and new energy and energy conservation & environmental protection. In the end, 42 startup teams and companies stood out and, together with the 10 startup teams selected from the overseas divisions, advanced to the finals.

The competition invited more than 300 experts from banks, venture capital firms, universities and research institutes, and entrepreneurship service organizations to serve as judges and mentors. During the competition, over 80 representatives from well-known domestic investment and financing institutions were organized to meet and connect with the projects on site. The finals featured an authoritative panel of 7 renowned domestic entrepreneurship mentors and 25 investment, financing, and technical experts, who jointly scored the contestants. Through on-site presentations and interactions with the judges, contestants elaborated on their entrepreneurial projects and showcased their entrepreneurial spirit. Gene sequencing platforms, silicon-based microdisplay chips, solid-state LiDAR… a host of high-tech projects made their debut, showcasing the new achievements of Jiangsu's innovation and entrepreneurship.
