On January 11, MOKA Robotics formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement with iNexBot Technology and partners including Han's Transmission and Zhongda Leader.

Under the strategic cooperation agreement, MOKA will purchase at least 2,000 sets of robot components in 2020. Component suppliers including iNexBot will share technology with MOKA, guarantee priority supply and the shortest delivery cycles, and work together in the robotics field to bring better, easier-to-use and smarter industrial robots to the market.

MOKA Robotics

Although MOKA is a newcomer to the robotics industry, its team brings more than 8 years of robot R&D experience. In 2011, MOKA's founder Luo Tao keenly sensed the signal that China's industrial robot market was taking off and began developing the first generation of robot products. Unlike many domestic robot manufacturers that took a "copy and paste" approach, Luo Tao's team committed to independent, forward-looking R&D from the very start, investing tens of millions of yuan in R&D equipment to guarantee robot performance and reliability.

Today, MOKA's robots are the sixth generation from Luo Tao's team and rank among the best in China for operating speed and service life. For example, conventional industrial robots have a rated motor speed of only 3,000 rpm, while MOKA's robots reach 4,500 rpm — a 50% increase in robot speed. To meet the heavy-load and high-cycle-time demands of the machine-tending industry, MOKA has also made extensive improvements to its reducers and body structure to ensure stable operation.

MOKA's product philosophy is reflected in the following three principles:

First: MOKA has devoted more than 8 years to robot body R&D and production, always pursuing the ideal of building robots right and competing head-to-head with foreign robots on ultimate performance. Product quality and reliability always come first. While pursuing extreme performance and reliability, MOKA also delivers the best value for money — bringing domestic robot performance close to imported levels at accessible prices, so that SMEs can afford robots and customers can recoup their investment within one to one-and-a-half years.

Second: MOKA specializes in customized industrial robot body solutions, offering professional bespoke product services to customers with different application scenarios and needs, and providing the best robot bodies to partners in niche segments.

Third: MOKA always puts end users first, and refuses to accept situations where customers purchase machines that cannot meet their needs or sit idle due to product defects.

iNexBot Control System

iNexBot Technology focuses on robot motion control R&D. Over its five years of existence, it has steadily pursued the vision of making robots "intelligent, simple and interconnected", launching the NexDroid secondary development platform and the NRC series robot motion control systems built on NexDroid.

The iNexBot control system is based on an x86 IPC platform and supports bus control technologies such as EtherCAT, with many unique competitive advantages in robot kinematics and dynamics.

In 2017, iNexBot was the first in China to introduce heterogeneous multi-robot collaboration technology, which has since been extensively validated in the market, improving robot operating efficiency while significantly cutting costs. In welding — the most widely adopted application in China — iNexBot provides digital and analog welder communication interfaces supporting laser seam finding and tracking. Combined with digitally communicating welders, it also offers touch sensing for seam finding, arc sensing and other technologies, greatly lowering the barrier to robot application.

iNexBot also provides turnkey solutions including vision-based conveyor tracking, force-sensor-based polishing and offline programming. Through open APIs and communication interfaces, iNexBot can deliver customized system solutions of all kinds.

Zhongda Leader RV Reducers

Founded in August 2006, Ningbo Zhongda Leader Intelligent Transmission Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise integrating the R&D, manufacturing, sales and service of motor drives, micro special motors and precision reducers. It has led or participated in drafting 6 national and industry standards and 1 "Made in Zhejiang" standard, maintains 87 patents, and operates a provincial-level enterprise R&D center in Zhejiang.

The RV reducer is one of the precision reducers with the highest technical difficulty, used in industrial robots, high-end CNC machine tools and other fields. Zhongda Leader achieved an RV reducer technology breakthrough in 2015, developing more than 9 specifications of RV cycloidal pinwheel reducers, and has since become a leader in RV reducers.

Han's Harmonic Reducers

Shenzhen Han's Precision Transmission Technology Co., Ltd. (Han's Harmonic Drive), a subsidiary of Han's Laser Technology Industry Group Co., Ltd., focuses on the R&D, production and sale of precision reducers and devices, robot systems and mechatronic equipment. The Han's Harmonic team achieves optimal tooth-profile design through big-data theoretical modeling, simulation optimization and performance verification, breaking free from the constraints of experience-based transmission design.

Through continuous improvement and innovation in harmonic reducer performance, product structure, manufacturing processes, materials and appearance, and with long-term technical accumulation, Han's harmonic reducers have reached the level of international counterparts in key technical areas including precision, service life, stability and noise control, with technical indicators ranking among the best.

MOKA Robotics stated that joining forces with partners such as iNexBot, Han's and Zhongda Leader enables it to compete on equal footing with imported robot brands — entering high-end manufacturing segments such as automotive and 3C that have long been dominated by imported robots, reshaping the image of domestic robots and realizing the dream of their rise.
