What Impact Will Yaskawa's Open Supply of Core Components Have on Domestic Robots?

Starting this spring, Yaskawa will sell core components such as drive controllers and servo motors to several major Chinese robot manufacturers. To avoid competing with its own robot offerings, Yaskawa will mainly supply components for SCARA robots used in electronic device assembly and similar processes.
