Lessons from the ZTE Incident for Domestic Robot Companies

After 28 agonizing days, ZTE, which had been sanctioned, finally saw a turning point: on May 13, U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted that he would work with the Chinese side to provide ZTE with a fast path back to normal operations. With that, the crisis for ZTE in the current Sino-U.S. trade friction appeared to be resolved — but for the 'Made in China 2025' strategy and the many Chinese high-tech enterprises, it was a wake-up call.
