Industrial Robot Controller C1103

iNexBot C1103 Industrial Robot Controller

1. Product Introduction

The C1103 is a high-performance embedded robot controller built by iNexBot for complex industrial scenarios. Within its compact 103 × 97 × 74.5 mm housing, it integrates an Intel J1900 quad-core processor, an independent EtherCAT real-time bus, and the modular E-BUS IO expansion architecture. A single controller supports up to 64 axes of synchronous motion and can independently control 4 robots while connecting external axes such as ground rails and positioners.

The controller comes with the iNexBot control system pre-installed and includes a rich library of mature process packages covering core industrial scenarios such as new-energy manufacturing, automotive parts, 3C electronics assembly, and smart logistics.

In one line: C1103 is the upgraded successor to the C1102 — same X86 platform, but with more interfaces, smaller footprint, stronger expansion, and built-in UPS power-loss protection.

2. Five Core Advantages

2.1 E-BUS Modular IO Expansion

The C1103's most differentiated hardware feature is its E-BUS expansion capability. Through the E-BUS interface, the controller seamlessly expands with iNexBot AL series IO modules covering digital IO, analog IO, encoder interfaces, and more. Users can flexibly configure IO combinations based on actual line requirements — no need to replace controller hardware — significantly reducing deployment and inventory costs.

2.2 Built-In UPS · Power-Loss Protection

The onboard supercapacitor module provides ≥ 5 seconds of backup power at full load. In the event of abnormal power loss, the system has time to save critical data and execute safe shutdown procedures, eliminating the risk of data loss and equipment damage. Key process parameters, program state, and critical data are automatically saved; after power is restored, the system supports resume-from-breakpoint operation, eliminating workpiece scrap and line-downtime risk.

2.3 4 Network Ports · Double the Interface Density

3 Gigabit Ethernet ports + 1 dedicated EtherCAT OUT port (independent RJ45) — double the network connectivity of the C1102. Supports multi-segment isolated deployment with no additional switch required. The independent EtherCAT hardware port does not occupy standard Ethernet ports; Intel i210 guarantees real-time performance and supports dual-master architecture.

2.4 46% Smaller Footprint

Size only 103 × 97 × 74.5 mm (C1102: 230 × 120 × 50 mm), volume approximately 0.74 L vs. 1.38 L — flexibly deployed in tight control cabinets. Standard DIN-rail mounting for easy installation and removal. Palm-sized among products of comparable computing power.

2.5 Configurable Interfaces · Flexible Customization

Memory (DDR3L 2/4/8 GB), M.2 storage (64 GB to 1 TB), and 4G/5G wireless modules are all available as options. The M.2 expansion slot supports WiFi / 3G / 4G / 5G modules to meet networking and remote O&M requirements.
