Robotic control technology is increasingly being applied in healthcare and surgery today. Examples include:
- Professional rehabilitation applications
- Minimally invasive surgery
- Intraoperative radiation therapy
- Improved breast-cancer diagnosis
- Orthopedic surgery and non-contact orthopedic treatment
- Plastic surgery
- Vascular imaging and hybrid operating-room systems
- Aesthetic surgery
Proton Therapy Couch
With the introduction of radiation therapy, oncology treatment has come to rely on precise robotic assistance to position patients with sub-millimeter accuracy. The proton therapy machine is currently the world's most advanced non-invasive cancer-treatment device.
The proton-therapy treatment couch (patient-loading system) has a payload capacity of up to 300 kg and is used as a patient-positioning device in proton-therapy centers. Its end-effector positioning accuracy can be better than 0.5 mm. iNexBot has developed dedicated precision algorithms and error-compensation techniques for this domain, achieving full domestic localization of the equipment. The device has been adopted at multiple proton-therapy centers.

X-Ray / CT Center
Using articulated robots to replace C-arm X-ray or CT machines delivers higher operational precision. 3D imaging can be obtained directly in the operating room.

Orthopedic Robots
Orthopedic robots can rely on vision technology to help surgeons locate lesions, plan pre-operative surgical flow, plan screw-entry paths, and provide visual guidance during surgery.
Built on robot simulation and force-control technology, the robot can autonomously avoid obstacles and prevent surgical accidents.
