Industry Introduction
Stainless steel pipe fittings are widely used in bathroom fixtures, kitchen hardware, metal furniture (tables, chairs, bed frames), architectural decoration (stair railings, guardrails), medical devices, food machinery, and other industries. Fittings are mainly small-diameter thin-wall pipes (wall thickness 0.8–2mm), with joint types covering pipe-to-pipe butt joints, pipe-to-elbow, pipe-to-tee, and pipe-to-flange — circumferential and short straight seams accounting for a large share. Welding requirements are characterized by a large number of weld seams, many specifications and models, high appearance standards, and mostly small-to-medium batch sizes. Traditionally dominated by TIG/manual welding, laser welding is accelerating its replacement of conventional processes as welder shortages and stricter environmental requirements take hold.
